Danielle was born in New Zealand and her family immigrated to Canada in 1997. Danielle grew up in the Edmonton region and now calls Spruce Grove home.
Danielle, and her husband Darcy have chosen Spruce Grove as their place to raise their family. Danielle is a proud mom to three beautiful girls, Scottie and Briar, and bonus daughter Kaidyn.
In 2021, Danielle was first elected to the City of Spruce Grove City Council. She ran with the notion of being a community voice and advocate for families within Spruce Grove.
Prior to being elected to City Council, Danielle had an extensive and successful career in Municipal Government Administration with a strong focus in planning/ development, and economic and business development in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region.
While being a dedicated public servant for the region, Danielle has had the opportunity to work with many local businesses and learn first hand from residents what it takes to make their community a better place to do business, raise a family, and live.
In 2023, Danielle was selected as a member of the Stollery Women's Committee, a committee of volunteers with the goal of raising awareness and advocating for the Stollery Children's Hospital.
In addition to Council responsibilities and volunteering, Danielle is the Club Director and one of the coaches for the Tri Area Skating Club located in Spruce Grove. A passion of Danielle's is working with youth and sharing her love of skating with future generations.
Danielle has extensive municipal government experience, budgeting expertise, a strong passion for community and social development, business development, community accessibility, and community inclusivity.
