What is important to me?

I believe all residents and visitors, regardless of ability, should be able to access and enjoy a barrier free community. I am proud to have had a key role in shaping the city's accessibility standards, including policy development and implementation. 

I believe in economic health and ensuring the community has the resources to thrive in a positive business climate. My background in business development is key to policy development and red tape reduction for City permitting and development opportunities. 

Transparency builds trust. I've kept my commitment to transparency by sharing monthly reports that outline the meetings I attend, the decisions I support, and the work I'm doing on your behalf. (found on my Facebook Page)

Everyone deserves a place to call home. I support inclusive housing strategies through thoughtful planning and governance- like the new Meridian Housing Seniors Facility, which I was proud to help bring to life. This picture was taken at the ground breaking for the new Meridian Housing Seniors Facility. 

I believe in environmental sustainability and stewardship.  It is imperative to plan for growth responsibly, to protect the environment for future generations. This is why I brought forward the idea to hand out hundreds of sapling trees at the Agra Fair parade! Pictured above. 

I believe in fostering an environment of community well-being. Accessible and connected communities thrive and come together to create positive environments. As a mother to a young family, I understand the need for a vibrant community.
