I was proud to bring the motion forward to establish a Youth Committee for Spruce Grove. Youth Programming and engagement is a passion of mine, this was a community gap that this newly created committee is working to address.
I brought forward the motion calling on the Government of Alberta to increase capital funding for accessible playgrounds at all new, replacement, or renovated Alberta public schools with K-6 programming. This motion was approved by municipalities across Alberta.
I was a strong advocate for the Boundary Road expansion and connection of Grove Drive West. This project will increase vehicular mobility on the west end of Spruce Grove.
In 2024 budget deliberations, I brought forward increasing snow removal service levels to include the removal of snow on side-yard pathways to increase mobility and walkability throughout the City.
I was a strong advocate for an inclusive playground to be included in the Central Park Revitalization project.
I was proud to make a motion during the 2024 budget deliberations to include a feasibility study to construct an indoor or outdoor aquatic centre in the 10-year capital plan.
